Architectural Control
The Architectural Control Committee (ACC) coordinates with homeowners about exterior changes or additions to homes or property. The committee ensures that proposed changes are in line with the conditions and restrictions of the HOA covenants. (Section 2 of Article VII in Amendment 3 (amend-3.pdf) specifically addresses the ACC's standards.)
Before starting an exterior home improvement project--such as a fence, dog run, swimming pool, deck enclosure, retaining wall, hot tub, gazebo, or other structure--you must submit a written plan to the ACC, which shows construction specifications of the proposed change, such as location, materials, shape, and approximate cost.
